Stewart-Richfield Cavaliers

Info About
 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Things to consider before bringing a Cavalier into your life:
* They are the most gentle and loving of all dogs.
* They are the ultimate companion.
* They shed.
* They need to be brushed at least once a week, to keep out the mats.
* Crate training is a benefit, it gives the Cavalier a real place to call his own, it is not a punishment.
* They must be a house pet and kept inside with the family.
* They do not tolerate extreme heat or cold.

For first time owners, I recommend:
Barron’s The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. A paperback book with tons of useful information, average cost around $7.00.  This handy little book will get you through every stage of your new pups development.

Welcome to

Stewart-Richfield Cavaliers

Stewart-Richfield Kennel is dedicated to producing happy, healthy, well adjusted dogs. Our litters are whelped in the house, with all the love and attention needed to make wonderful pets and winning show dogs. All of my dogs live in the house, puppies are crate trained and started on house training before they go to their new homes. Families wanting a pet only will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract, show potential puppies are usually placed with co-ownership and a contract for showing to their championship. Stewart-Richfield Kennel produces quality not quantity, so there is generally a wait to get a puppy.
